Why the name
VEYDEX is a verified index of investment decision-making and performance. Every call is public, timestamped, and tracked objectively over time, so a track record is something you can measure instead of something you just claim.

About VEYDEX
Hi, I'm Ethan Bell, a high schooler from Orange County, California.
I built VEYDEX because I kept seeing the same problem: students put real work into stock pitches, and then there's no way to prove whether they were right. The pitch gets presented once, the slides get forgotten, and the only “track record” anyone has is the wins they choose to remember.
I wanted a place where every call is locked in, timestamped, and scored against the S&P 500 automatically, so your record is honest and you can actually show it to someone.
Why the name
VEYDEX is a verified index of investment decision-making and performance. Every call is public, timestamped, and tracked objectively over time, so a track record is something you can measure instead of something you just claim.
No real money. Still the real thing.
You don't need a brokerage account to prove you can pick stocks. Your record is credible because of the rules, not the money:
Locked when you submit
No editing the pick, the reasons, or the timing.
Real market prices
Entered at the next real open, scored on real closes.
No deleting losers
Every call counts, so your record is the whole story.
Anyone can check it
Every score shows the exact prices and dates used.
The problem
For students trying to break into finance, stock pitches are everything. But the work doesn't last, and it doesn't count.
Students pitch stocks all the time in investment clubs, competitions, and group chats. A week later, that work is buried in a Slack thread or a slide deck nobody opens again.
It's easy to screenshot the one stock that doubled and quietly forget the three that didn't. Without every call on the record, a “track record” is just a highlight reel.
Recruiters and club leaders have no fair way to tell who actually has good judgment and who just got lucky once, so students can't prove what they know.
The fix
Calls are locked the moment you submit. No edits, no deletes, no hiding the misses.
Every score lists the exact prices and dates, so anyone can check it by hand.
Rankings reward a long, steady record over one lucky swing.
“Anyone can say they called it. I wanted students to be able to prove it.”
